Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you create an account: your email address and a hashed password. When you check out: your order details and license keys. Payment card details are never seen or stored by ModlQ — checkout is handled entirely by Stripe.
2. Why we collect it
To issue and validate license keys, let you download the plugins you've purchased, and email you about your orders and support requests. We don't use your data for advertising and we don't sell it.
3. Third parties
Stripe processes payments and handles card data under its own privacy policy. We don't share your email or order history with any other third party.
4. What plugins send home
Installed plugins validate your license key against our server on activation and periodically afterward. They do not read, transmit, or upload the contents of your Revit models.
5. Data retention
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active, so your license keys and download history stay available. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@modlq.app.
6. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
